c280 valve cover

can a c280 valve cover stand up to the temps of powder coating?
local powder coating guy says material is mix of metal & plastic so can't be.does any one know the material this is made from?wonder if it's magnesium like 190s?

Yes It Will take Powder coating...No Problem....Please mask off the Inner part of the valve cover...you Dont need any problems if it chips off!
