Porsche 928...MB tranny HELP?

Hello, I have been referred to this site as the authourity on MB auto trannys. I have a 1987 928S4 with a 4 speed auto tranny A28. I believe it to be the same as some of the 6 liter Benz models. My problem is a no gear engagement situation. I know I had a fluid overfill situation but, that has been remedied. I recently dropped the tranny to replace the torque coverter bearings. Any suggestions on where to start? Let me know if you need more info... Thanks a bunch. Brendan

This is the only failure I'm aware of that doesn't require major tranny work..
