Right on the money
BenzBob,
I think the generation that was so smitten with the rice rockets in the 70's and 80's are still smitten with them even though they are falling apart on the factory floor. You also have a larger middle class that don't quite understand spending an extra $5k-$10k more for a MB and settle for an rice rocket. BRAIN BLOCKAGE, they just can't comput the extra info, which = class and luxury. Simply put, there are more people that have BRAIN BLOCKAGE out there. So more reponses to lame evaluations. Tom? tomo? , Stick with your C class, period. = I really hate those toyota full size pickup commercials. They have hard working American contructions workers proclaiming their love for those stupid trucks. AHHHHHHH Hate em@!! Just desprate actors..bastards!! O.K. I think thats enough...... Stevo

Love My C
When I first drove my 1995 C280 I fell in love with her, a love that has lasted and grown over all these years.
You must realize that I am VERY particular about my cars and for any one vehicle to provide me with the satisfaction I desire for 8 years and running is well worth the extra initial cost. In reality, I have probably spent less, since if I were not satisfied with the vehicle I would have traded every 3-4 years as I had in the past when the vehicle was starting to show its age. The "C" Class is the perfect size for me and my wife and that is why I also chose the ML which is only 6 inches longer and 6 inches wider. Yes, I will stick with my C! From what I read on this forum she has many good miles left. |

What is wrong with your dealers?! I have over 300k combined miles and 28 combined years of age on my 2 MBs. I am always treated with perfect respect when I use the dealer.

This is the final chapter on the so sad engine lite. I took the car to the local import mechanic. He noted no code per the tester. He said it was working fine. In fact, when I picked up the car today I would have to agree. The mas sensor replacement appeared to correct the stumbling. To my surprise, It took a couple of day at the car spa for brakes and to check the engine for the critter to come out of its stuppor. Does this make sense? Thanks alot for your help. tom
