Steering Question 126

Hi,

Issue - I notice that while my steering is straight, there is play when turning right. What I mean is, is that when turning left, there is almost immediate reaction from the wheels, but when I go to turn right, there is about 1 inch of free play before the wheels react to my input.

Is it possible that the steering box can wear in one direction? I was not able to find anything to support this in the archives.

Any ideas???? Thanks, Mike

I would check out the steering linkage and look for worn ball joints.
