300E - Safe Jacking Points
I want to jack up each end of the car using a floor jack to put stands under the rubber pads at the stock jackpoints. Where can I safely place the jack to lift both front or both rear wheels together?
Thanks Gary |

At the front,
Put the jack under the suspension lower arm, as close to the ball joint as you can get. Alternatively, jack under the rubber pads and put the stands under the reinforced section of the main chassis member which is slightly to the front of the jacking point and inboard. At the rear, jack under one of the subrame mountings
