Hi,
I have a 1995 C280 and need to replace the wood zebrano trim on the console where the shifter gate and window switches are. The dealer wants 162, and was wondering if you knew of anywhere else, where I could buy the just thw wood zebrano trim because that's all thats gone bad - its cracked and scratches all over. I would appreciate any repsonse or help on this issue. Troy |

Troy, look in wrecking yard...???? Probably one of the only other places you will get the wood, and for fairly cheap too, I'd imagine. Troy, did you hear what our climate controls can do????

I would see if parts shop can help you locate one. David, I'm tired of hearing about your climate control. In my ML, climate control is an oxymoron... bleh. Tell me what yours CAN do and I'll tell you what mine CAN'T!

I was so lucky several days ago while on scrounging trip to local salvage yard (used parts supplier) looking for 123 "stuff" that I just happened to glance into a wrecked 126 & saw perfectly-matching replacement wood trim for my 91 350SDL interior door panels lying on the wreck's floor already removed & ready to "throw-in" with rest of the stuff. Good luck.

C Class Wood Trim
HELP! How do you replace the wood on the upper part of the dash, just below the defroster? I purchased the part from the junk yard, but now I need guidance on how to R&R the part.
Thanks. |
