Blinker On 140 S500 Not Working Right. Help!

The right blinker on my 94' S500 is giving me some trouble. When you turn on the turn signal it starts blinking, then stops and shows a solid signal inside and on both front and rear outside. If you put the left on, it works fine and at the same time unsticks the right one. Now if I turn on the emer. flashers, again the right hangs up and stops blinking and gives solid lights both inside on the dash and outside. Please help me out on this one.

I,m new to Mercedes, but I can tell you that on a Lexus I owned previously when my turn lamp bulb was going bad, it would blink very rapidy whenever activated. I'm told that blinking was my "signal" that it was going bad. Could this constant-on state be an indicator of pending lamp failure? (BTW, it was just the little bulb, nothing big)

All the bulbs light up fine. It's like maybe the flasher unit sticks. Does anyone know if the right & left have sep flasher units?

I have a S-class 140 1993. While under warranty the turn signals
were behaving erratically. The dealer replaced a electronic module
which cured the problem. I think the module was located under the hood on the right side. They had to remove other modules and it was underneath those. I saw the bill which was $8??.??
