94 E320 wireharness procedure

Help I'm stuck in Alaska at my sisters house and found out I have to replace the engine harness. The car ran great up here. I have a
new harness being flown in and wonder what the best procedure is to replace it? I have searched for three hrs for info and might have missed some info.
