Simple Coolant Over Flow Prob. W108

'69 280S

Okay, I started driving the car around today (I got it yesterday) I noticed that when I would stop, and park the car, alot of coolant would leak out of over-flow rubber pipe. This happened about twice, and on the second time nothing came out. I dismissed it thinking the previous owner put in too much coolant and that the excess had by now spilled out. The next time I parked the car I noticed once again a large puddle of coolant, and lines of coolant on the ground that were caused before I parked the car. While driving I havn't noticed any spilage, and my engine temp doesn't is between 175-200F. What could be the problem? Should I have an over flow tank for the over-flow coolant?

Thanks
