I took out my belt to check some noise and found that I had to replace my pulley (tensioner). I also found that the alternator and PS pump pulley had a bit of play (up, down, left right). but not forward backward. Can this be tolerated or should I replace some parts? If ever, are there "bearings" on this parts that I could replace?

Thanks!

What car??? I have seen this on the P/S some, and they were ok, they are bushings. On the alternator, it has bearings and they should have very little play.

Yup! Very little play. So nothing to be alarmed of?

Thanks!
