All stromberg owners who do not know this, there is a wire that goes to the bottom of your carb. Mine was found in a ball of garbage and oil under the air filter box.
Yours is most likely there also. When mechanics adjust the CO mixture without disconnecting the wire it eventualy breaks at the carb base and coils up and hides. I found mine and my problem was fixed. Now if I can ever find the hidden vacuum leaks I may have a nice driving car. ![]() I hate this darn carb. It is not for the average backyard mechanic. |
