I just received my car back from the mechanic's after having him do his best to adjust the idle (which subsequently has been troublesome since the day I bought the car)
I had recently changed the cap and rotor, wires, plugs and points, and had the carb rebuilt a while ago. I must say it's never run smoother, except now, it has a run on after I place it in park and shut it off. I'm afraid to touch anything as the car is finally idling well, but I'm concerned with this new problem. Is it serious? Should I do anything about it soon? So far I've just been turning off the car in drive and then putting it in park after it is off. Hope someone can shed some light on my situation. Thanks, AARON 1976 230 |
