I just changed the electronic idle controler on my 1983 380SEC. I thought it was fixed because it started to idle properly, but it decided to return to its high idle speeds. The resistance between pins 1 and 5 was 10.4 ohms when the control was changed. Could the idle speed control valve be hanging up even after showing the proper resistance? I Hope I didn't screw up the new electronic idle control too!
