We thought, on my 83 240D where I am running the AC after rebuild with a hand switch sending 12V to the compressor, that the pressure switch at the drier was bad. It checks out okay; gives continuity. 12V not getting to it.
I know the AC Radiator aux cooling fan relay gets an indirect signal from the AC main relay and this fan runs like it should so part of the main relay is fine. However I would like to check the main relay first anyway, and then the temp selection switch-- except --I can't find it! Do you know where it is? |

You have an evap temp regulator that may be failing. In the 123, it is behind the dash pocket. Square box with two wire and a temp probe. Closed circuit with warm evap.
Do you not have a CD for this yet? ------------------ Benzmac: Donnie Drummonds 1992 500E (very soon I hope 1981 280GE SWB ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
