How to adjust idling speed in 602 & 603 engine - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

How do I adjust idling speed in a 602 and 603 engine? Is it just a screw on the injection pump?

ON the 1986 & later US cars there is a computer to control the idle speed, but there is a base setting w/o computer control. There is a adjusting bolt & jam nut at the rear of the inj. pump at the top, base setting is 50-75 rpm below desired speed.
