I didn't have to adjust my tensioner.
BTW do you know how to adjust the stop switch, this is only nessesery if you have a "schiebe-hebe dach". Just come with the german words and i will translate them, we are neighbours over here. ------------------

FWIW when I had a similar problem, a track had to be replaced (inexpensive), but it required removing the headliner almost completely(6-8 hours of shop time).
Hope your problem is less expensive.
