Peace?

Hopefully, Capn', you can finally lay this beast to rest. By this I mean, enjoying your Benz, as you should be all this time. Mine has 235k on it -- if/when I get to 315k and get the ultimate high mileage badge, I'll be ecstatic.

Good luck!

Paul

My car is by no means "fixed". I am just able to drive it. It is still having to run in 'limp' mode. I have already replaced all the sensors, OVP and CIS-E computer. I will try to replace the engine/CIS-E wiring harness and see if that helps. Once that is complete I have to take it back to the transmission shop(180 miles away) and see if they can find 1st and 2nd gear. We ain't out of the woods, we just see a glimmer of hope!!

Thumbs up Positive News from 300E?

Glad to find some good news from a 300E experience Cap'n!

My latest good news is that Myamar located a Russian that uses ultrasonic cleaning to fix fuel distributors! After reading about ultrasonic cleaning, it just makes sence! Low vibrational frequencies clean port holes and hard to reach areas in the FD.

Also, my latest modification is a 560SEC grill swap with pesuazo! When he saw my grill, he liked it more than the 560, so I asked if he wanted to swap....he was happy to get a new factory grill.....and I was happy that my 300E was looking better, even if it's not ready to drive! lol!

I'm still thinking of making prints of my car and selling them! LOL! ......at least the profit will pay for the insurance each month!

If anyone else has good news from their 300E, please let me know, as I could stand to hear it! I did ride in pesuazo's 300 over the weekend, so now I feel better .

Happy wiring Cap'n!!
