cannot get any sense this side of the pond,clearly you guys know your stuff so here goes,we have a 1993 320E/124 it should be a 5 speed auto but it will not engage 5,also the E-S switch doesn't seem to work,cruise control is not working either.There is no speed sensor on the back of the speedo and Merc uk say there is not one in the trannie,mind you they are the same people that said the cruise cable needed adjusting,as you probably know it aint got one
