The sunroof on my 1998 E320 stopped working. I removed the glass, and found the sunroof tracks that the glass attach to binding. I removed the tracks and lubricated the arm assemblies that move forward and back into the roof with liquid white grease (LPS2) The arms began to move forward and back smoothly. I replaced the tracks that the glass attach to, and again ran assembly forward and back. No problem. I replaced the glass and I am still having problems. It seems that there might still be binding, and the motor seems to be overloaded. Any help would be appreciated.

on the inside of the rail there is a small guide held down with a single skrew. the updated one has 2, this keeps the cable from rolling out while closing.
