124 LIMITED SLIP

I'm currently converting my 400E rear diff to a limited slip and the car is non-ASR. Of course I'm also installing a lower gear at the same time. I'm hoping the install is worth the trouble and will do some time analysis before and after, in the wet and the dry.

My question is what happens to say a 500E with ASR and a limited slip together? Would the ASR then only function if both wheels are slipping? Has anyone done this combination and were the results just acceptable or outstanding?
