Any ideas on how to mimick manifold pressure in regards to egr function?
Well here is what I tried: I disconnected the egr tube and ran it to the line that goes to the MAP sensor. I put a check valve so that boost pressure was getting to the MAP sensor and another check valve so exhaust gases did not get into the intake. So boost pressure and exhaust gases were getting to the MAP sensor but not going into each others space. It did not work and I believe it is because I probably have to have the exhaust gases going to the MAP sensor only when the egr was functioning and not all the time. Any thoughts?
