I have a slight skip at low rpm. It is not apparent at idle, but shows up in the 1000 to 1300 rpm range, then disappears on acceleration. What are the most common reasons for this? Thanks.

Couple of thoughts...plugs, wires, distributor cap.

Your thoughts were right jeffsr. One really bad spark plug was doing the damage. A full change of plugs, and a carbon burn up the highway and she is purrs like she was ment to.
