Having an oil leak that seems to be coming from near the oil pan...had new pan put on recently, front main seal possibly? not a huge leak but its steady and tends to blow back onto the rest of the under body while driving.. if so, what is an est. cost of fixing. car runs beautifully other than this problem.

It could be the turbo oil return tube. They will leak often and are sealed with rubber. Have it checked.
The front main may be leaking, but I have not replaced many on this engine. ------------------ Benzmac: Donnie Drummonds 1992 500E (very soon I hope ![]() 1981 280GE SWB ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
