How fast can I cruise in my 300SD?

I have a 1985 500sel the max speed is 140mph but at about 120 it starts to lose power it has 215,000 miles and it is not relay good to run at high speeds and you relay need to wacth the redline (rpms) andyoure mpg will go way down and its not good to run high speeds on a high millage car its hard on it
