Remove passengers floor mat
Remove carpet section under passengers floor mat.
Control unit is under the carpet, remove connector.
May need to remove screw or bolt to remove panel.
Sorry can't say which one for sure, pretty sure it has "Becker" label.

It is the module all the way to the left in this picture on a 1989 300SE. Disconnect both of the large connectors and just leave them hanging.

Is says Becker autoradio on this one. Another shot.

THANKS GUYS!!!! Gilly & engatwork

I GOT THE smaller one off but now there is a clicking like a turn signal relay. i was jus coming in to ask what to do

my dog is looking at me like i'm nuts. she's in the back seat waiting for me to go home.

thanks a bunch.

craig :) :D :p

Gilly 11-06-2003 09:30 PM

Do what Jim said and disconnect them both. The input side is still connected and the clicking is the small relay in there trying to cycle the headlights on and off. It's not actually cycling the headlights on and off because the output side is disconnected.
