I have a 1985 500sel and it has teh origanal gear changer on the center counsle. I was wondering can i put a newer on one like the 97's with the class emblem on them i no they sell them for my car but they are wood and i would like to bring that up to date if it is possable any tips on getting it to fit

You will not get the new ones to fit the old, but you can get one that is styled the same, I'm sure.

do you have any idea where i can get one beacuse precision auto has them but they are old style with wood or new style wich will not fit
