How do I change the light in the center console that lights the gear shift selector?
I have a '82, 300SD. I do not want to crack the wood so any info would be appreciated. ------------------ 82 300SD 100K 91 Caprice SS 92 Jetta TD

You take out the ashtray and frame. Then the small pocket at the bottom. The wood will slide forward then up.
