How do I change the light in the center console that lights the gear shift selector?
I have a '82, 300SD. I do not want to crack the wood so any info would be appreciated.

You take out the ashtray and frame. Then the small pocket at the bottom. The wood will slide forward then up.
Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. It should save an otherwise perfect wood trim.
