thanks tkamiya, that was exactly what i was looking for.

we are looking at a plasma cutter that we will need to step up to the 3ph 460v that it uses. i was trying to figure out what the Kva needed would be.

this was exactly what i was looking for. just a fast way to arrive at a reasonable Kva.
