Question '92 500E maintenance&general care??

hi members,

I am a proud owner of a '92 500E with low mileage & bought used from authorized MB dealership here so I guess thats a plus also.

I have bought a second car; '01 Infiniti QX4 4WD in showroom condition , I needed an suv badly because roads here are lousy and as you can imagine the 500E is an asphalt lover!!

I have parked my 500E after washing&waxing and lubing door hinges/throttle linkages also, engine always gets Mobil 1 synthetic and transmission has Valvoline synthetic as well , tires are new; Michelin Pilot Primacy.

Any pro advice for general care of my car is very much appreciated. thanks

well first hachem .....if the roads are not good, then I would really be carefull as small flying rocks....will chip your paint...and you don't want to repaint your hood because of that, right?

Second.

always check your tires for any imbeded nails or anything of the sort.....God knows what you went over when driving...and you do not want a blown out tire...which will give you a migraine if you dont have one already

Third.....get that SUV....and use your MBZ only as a night/dinner....weekend car........don;t forget to keep it shaded or in a garage if you can ....the sun is your paint's worst enemy.

enjoy it ...
