112'000 mile 1992 300CE for $9'800 2/14/02. New trans. at 128K miles for $2600. Yeah it was still a pretty good deal, KBB was 13'800 when I bought it.

Just paid $2800 for a '93 400E with just 52k miles on it.......it's not running right tho and needs a bit of work.....first job will be to replace upper wiring harness

Please still waiting for someone to help me with issue

I just traded an old rifle for a 1074 450SL 107C. It is my first Mercedes, so if I say something really stupid, try to muffle the laughter. The car is in great shape with excellent michelin tires, but not getting fuel to the throttle body. It has been in storage since 2001, with a quarter tank of gas according to the gauge. I have ordered a fuel pump and filter just in case. I intend to drain the tank to see what comes out. It is a beautiful car, white with red interior. It does have 186K miles on the old girl. By the way, I paid $500 for the old rifle.

Any advice for a rank newbie?

1991 MB E300, I am new to the MB family, recently had the pleasure of receiving a call from my sister informing me that a friend had a car for sale for $200, I now have $3000 invested.

Just bought a very well maintained 1995 S500 with 178K for $4,000. This is my first W140 and I'm a bit nervous. I'm starting to remember why I got rid of my 95 E-class. Evaporator and entire AC system has been done on this one. Upper wiring harness and throttle body have been done. Self leveling shocks have been done. Just put 4 Michelin's on it and getting an alignment at the dealer as we speak. Wish me luck!

74 450SL- I would recommend that you not try to start the car until the entire fuel system has been drained and thoroughly cleaned and new fresh fuel is added. Gasoline will turn into varnish after sitting for a while and this varnish will really gum up your fuel system. If you plan to operate the car sporadically, add Sta-Bil to the fuel system. Sta-Bil will prevent the gas from turning into varnish.

Bought an E 320 e wagon 1994 EX ROADSIDE CAR for 19,000 in 1997 had 99,000 miles on it now 234,000 only thing broken was alternator at 140k , and thermostat broke at 120k still own it, putting in a C 36 104 engine as soon as the weather gets dry
