I'm thinking of replacing my 260E with a'93 300E 2.8, 65,000 miles, $16,500US, always garaged, never winter driven, dealer serviced, records, private sale.
I understand that it is a 1993-only combination of the W124 body with the 104 twin-cam 2.8 engine commonly found in the C280. Oddly enough, this one comes with a cloth interior that I'm not too crazy about. Are there common problems with this particular vehicle? Anything to watch for? Does that $16,500 sound like a good price? Any comments are welcome. Thanks, Alex 87 260E 75 Fiat 124 Sport Spider [This message has been edited by Alex Kouliy (edited 07-07-2000).] |

All I can comment on is the price. $16,500 is very close to median. The low book is just under $14K and the high is just over $19K for this car in Excellent cond.
This is the best I can do. Hope this helps.... here is the link to NADA website... http://www.kbb.com/ ------------------ William 76 240D - 550K miles 78 300D - 200K+ miles |
