Question Diesel Anti Gel

Mixing 1 gallon of regular gasoline in a thank of diesel prevents Diesel Freezing. Is this true?

That's a bit oversimplified.

Gelling and freezing are slightly different phenomena, and adding gasoline to diesel fuel will indeed reduce its viscosity and lower its gel point, but will also reduce its lubricity substantially (important for most injection pumps) and change its cetane rating radically. The better commercial gel point lowering additives are much less likely to cause harm to a diesel motor if the weather should warm up before you get all the blend used up. Many decades ago, M-B, VW, and many other diesel manufacturers had recommended gasoline blending ratios for extremely low temperature conditions, but I think that's all past history due to the development of better additives specially designed for the purpose. Search around on the "Diesel Discussion" list for more details.
