Check Engine Light 94' E-320

My check engine light came on tonight leaving the office. Anyone have any quick suggestions I can check before taking it to the shop?
I'm close to having the 60K service done and thought this was a sign or the weather is a little colder than normal tonight and it might be a freak thing.
