I've never heard of an "off-road" suspension option. The only thing I can think of that comes close is the varying spring pad thicknesses that are available, which depend upon the option levels (weight) of your car and the country in which it was delivered (road smoothness). The thickness of the pad is identified by the number of tabs of dots on it, the thinnest being one and the thickest being four. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Its not what I am trying to achieve its what my son has got. It came as a suprise when the dealer found out that it was a non standard suspension setup.

Its slightly higher than normal, larger travel, stronger springs. We think it was meant for somewhere withunmade roads, like africa. By the way the car is in the UK its a CE not the one below

muddit,
There is a suspension option on most Mercedes known as the Hard Spring Suspension. The vehicle is higher to compensate for poorer road conditions found in some countries.
