Hi, I just finished replacing the Fuel Distributor on my 1988 560SL What is the procedure that I should to do to get the fuel to move through the distributor down the lines to the injectors? Obviously the engine does not start because of air in the lines and ?? What else I need to do.
Thanks for your help on the other issues I had. I am moving forward on them, Jack

install the supply and returns to the dist. jump the fuel pump. adjust the co screw until the fuel just reaches the outlets on the dist while the pump is running. this should get you close enough to start the car. install the injectors lines and crank. i have never had to bleed a kjet car's injector lines to get 1 to run. diesels, well they always fuss about air in the lines. good luck, chuck.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well after following your sugestions it started fine. After a minor adjustment to the Air idle mixture and it's like factory new. Better to run on 8 cylinders than 6. Thanks to all of you for your assistance. I'll be back with other questions sooner than later. Monty
