Will 1995 500e Headlights Fit a 1989 300ce?

I am thinking about a HELLA 500e headlight upgrade. Can I fit 1995 headlights or will I have to use the 1993 headlights? I am asking this, because if the 1995 headlights fit, than I will be looking to replace the hood for a 1995 down the road. One mod at a time
