96 E320 (W210 w/ 104 motor) Alternator Amps?

Parts store shows both a 115 amp and a 90 amp alt for this car. The only one in stock was the 90 amp. Since I HAD to get this car going TODAY I bought the 90.

Can anyone tell me what is recommended for '96 E320 w/ 104 motor?

Car is stock. No high draw stereo or anything.

Just curious as to what was factory. The old one, well . . I couldn't find any number.

Did a 99 E300D the other day and it had the 115amp. If the diesel makes it on 115 your gas should have no problem with 90.
