Hood light in 1995 E420?

Is there a light under the hood in my 1995 E420? If so, the bulb is burned out. Where should I look?

Thanks,
Troy

No there isn't. MB isn't really big on underhood lights, can't think of a single MB that has one.......

How many makes have them? I can't recall any cars I've owned that had lights under the hood, bonnet, etc.

My BMWs had them

Both the 1986 and 1988 had them. My Ford Bronco II had a light also. NOT having one makes checking oil after dark a messy affair.

Mercedes 113 chassis had an optional engine compartment light.
There is a factory power plug on the firewall that it plugs into, but the lamp itself was an option.
I have only seen one original in my days....

I have a '92 GMC Suburban that not only has a light that comes on when you open the hood....but another hand-held light with a long cord that you can use anywhere under the hood. When you are done using the hand-held you just rewind the cord onto the built-in reel and the light bulb part snaps into a mount on the side of the reel. It is a great feature.

I know what you mean.
Used to have an Austin-Healey.
Still remember when the throttle return spring ( twin SU carbs ) broke, just as I was going around a corner.
Installed double springs after that.
