TE rear shock question
Can anyone give me some insight as to whether the rear shocks on a 95 TE need replaced if they are not leaking? The car has 95K on it and I am getting some thumping from the back end over bad bumps and I think it is the shocks, but how do you know? The shocks list for around $800, so I wonder if there is any sure way to tell, or is mileage a good enough reason. Thanks

Not shocks... accumulators. I advise every 100k atleast. Not near as expensive and always the problem (they are always the problem as they are the problem even when they aren't the problem).
For more of the story, use accumulators as key word and search the archives. I, alone, have written enough on them to fill your morning.
