When I got my car I noticed that it pulled to the right and planned to get an alignment to fix it. Then I noticed that sometimes it pulled to the left and sometimes neither. I also noticed that when maneuvering in a parking lot, there is a noise from the front passenger side when the wheel is turned to either extreme. I can't see anything by looking under the car, but after I take a sharp turn in either direction, the car pulls in that direction. It usually pulls right since my right turns are generally sharper turns.
Has anyone experienced this before? I was thinking it may be the steering damper. -Erik '85 300TD 193k |

Check your lower and upper ball joints. Do you have any tire wear? (your uppers are a combo balljoint/control arm). Another possibility, Track rods, they look alot like a torsion arm coming from the footwell area, and going to the lower arm.
