My C43 as developed a anoying starting problem the engine turns over fine when cold but once the engine as run for a few minutes the starter will operate for just a second then turn off, this procedure as to be reapeted several untill the starter cranks long enough to fire the engine. I fitted a new starter which cured the problem for several months but now the fault as reoccured, the starter makes a dry squeek when cutting out . Is there a special lubricant for the starter to ringgear drive? the starter works fine if powered from the battery direct. Any ideas much appreciated Thanks Linds

Pull the starter off and apply antisieze to the bendix shaft.
Sounds crazy but works. Joe
