I've recently had the opportunity to upgrade my 1985 190E 2.3 MB-tex manual driver & passenger seat skins, horsehair pads, and rear bench with leather skins from a 1990 190E 2.6 wreck with power seats. Before I jump the gun, are there any compatibility issues that will prevent me from performing the swap? Out of curiosity, are the 190/260/300 front seats the same or vastly different? Thanks,

Sean

The W201 had a seat upgrade in 1987 or 88 that changed the design of the interior from previous (re: 1985) models. I don't know if changing the pads and the skins will be as easy as if they had made no changes at all.
Double check before you jump.
