Starting Problem
I would appreciate any help regarding my starting problem. I have a 1986 300E that has been giving me problems starting lately. When the motor is cold, like first thing in the morning or after several hours being unused, I have to make several attempts to get it working. The motor turns over but will not start until the second or third attempt. I have recently replaced all six spark plugs, the gas filter and have put in fuel injection cleaner twice. My second or third attempt, the car will usually start. If I turn it off after it has started, it will start up right away.
Does anyone have an idea what my problem could be? Thanks.

thev12pwr, are you referring to the feul pressure regulator # c3000-44427 on fastlane ?, I have two friends that are having the same problem with there 190's Thanks Ross
