I already changed it. I'm going to keep an eye on it for a while. I put a posted a reply to the post about dead alternators that when I called the local dealership about an alternator rebuild kit they acted like they had never heard of such a thing. I'll put a request in at partshop to see if one is available, if so I will probably rebuild the alternator, even though it does seem to be charging, the car has 129000 miles and I don't know if it has ever been serviced. Couldn't hurt. Marc |

Hey guys,
I took the car out for about a 15 minute ride with the lights on. You guessed it, dead battery. I put a parts request in for a voltage regulator and alternator. As soon as I get everything replaced in this car... it will be like new! ![]() Marc |

Marc,
Well, we hit some and we miss some. From the voltage readings you gave, it has been my experience that it is the battery. I guess we should have read the voltage with the lights on as a poor boys load test. Good luck, Larry |
