slk 230 temp control

I just purchased an slk 230 98' I was trying the air cond. today and found that my side shoots out cold air and the passenger side sends out hot. both controls are set at cold. What part do you think I need? Is there a fuse I can check? How do I fix this? Thank you for your help

Duo valve, heater core temp sensor (they have 2), evap temp sensor or a outside shot at a acc panel. Find someone who can get into the system to read the sensor outputs. Otherwise your shooting in the dark.
