Heap of trouble! cannot get clips off lower body cladding/flatbed comes tonight!
I've got everything off the car except the lower body cladding panels on the doors.
Please do not tell me to do a search since I've done so, and there is no real detail to those posts, I wonder if some of those people were lying. From inside the door panel, I can see the inside of the clips on the top (the ones that move to the side to release. I also notice clips on the bottom. I know they fasten into the lower part of the door, and I cannot find out where they release. I am scared to rip the panel off (scared of warping it in the process). Can someone with experience please give me some insight into these bottom clips? I am down to around 10 hours untill the flatbed arrives to take the car into the body shop. I need to get these bloody panels off... I would really appreciate anything guys. Sincerely, Michael McKinney

UPDATE:
SUCCESS!!!
I was able to pop the panel off by pulling directly outwards from the middle of the door. The panel pulled directly outward. I was able to see how the clips work after the panel came off. I was wondering guys, since the bottom clips are two piece, I have to pry them apart to get the door down to bare metal. The clips will be slightly damaged in the process. How much is a set at the dealership? I was just wondering if they are cheap and readily available? Also do you guys, ever tip flatbed drivers? I was wondering if I should since it is a Sunday and everything........? Let me know guys, thanks. Mike McKinney
