These cars must talk to each other .... our 91 300e's blower motor has just started making noise!

MB DOC what does one lube the blower motor bearings? Is access from under the cowling?

I bought it separately for my 2000 E320, p/n 210-821-15-51. Go to any webs for auto parts and look for a “blower regulator.” In an E320 it is attached with two screws to the blower motor mounting plate.
And by the way I had two Lexus cars in the period of 11 years: 90 LS400 for six years and 165,000 miles; 99 GS300 for five years and 90,000 miles. They were good cars not without the faults like any car. Mercedes for me is a new experience. I just never had a problem with Lexus after one month of ownership (even with used one).
I am ready to enjoy my new experience!

The regulator costs more than the motor ? Am I missing something ?

On E320 blower motor list price is $418.00 and regulator switch list: $211.00. It looks like a small resistor plate, were you plug in all your wires from the blower motor.
