104 engine surging

Hello Folks
The CE light came on, dealer diagnosed EGR valve. I checked it out and there was a broken vacuum line to that vac switch in the front of the engine. I replaced it and removed the EGR, cleaned, tested, and reinstalled it. I also changed my oil.
The engine now when you come to a stop goes from 475-600 RPM back and forth, it continues to do this until you put the trans in neutral. It then begins to idle normally. I have checked everything to ensure all is ok. Could this be my idle control valve? Any help would be appreciated.
Brian

Found it!

Hey folks,
I checked all the vacuum lines again and while I was changing my oil I must have knocked a line off, I put it back on and it is smooth as silk! I am happy again! my car runs like it should! Thanks for your help!
Regards,
Brian
