Sounds like the rear chamber of the resevoir has gone dry. Take a very close look at the chambers, fill with fluid and rebleed starting from the rear. Keep the chamber topped up after every other opening of the bleeder screw.
Getting the fluid to fill the rear chamber can be a chore, you have to keep adding very slowly as it will only spill over into the rear chamber when the front is nearly topped up. Might be a good idea to shine a bright flash light through the sides of the resevoir to see where the fluid level really is.
